La Margarita

A Tradition of Flavor &

Community Since 1984

At La Margarita , we’re more than just a restaurant—we’re a family, a tradition, and a cornerstone of the Salem community. Founded in 1984 by Pedro Rosales after years of hard work, education, and planning, La Margarita . was built on a simple yet bold idea: to bring something unique to Salem’s food scene.

At a time when there were only a handful of Mexican restaurants in the city, Pedro introduced something truly special—a mesquite wood grill that infused every dish with a rich, smoky flavor. Word spread, and little by little, the community embraced the warm, authentic flavors of La Margarita . What started as a humble venture soon became a beloved gathering place for families, friends, and food lovers alike.
